We have programs in California, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington. This application is your one stop shop to all positions in Avid! We are looking for staff for a variety of specialties and programs including:

• Day Camps, Residential Overnight Camps, and Outdoor Expeditions
• Sport specific programs including Climbing, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Water Sports (including kayaking and paddleboarding), and Backpacking
• Program equipment and logistics coordination

Job Requirements

• All remaining instructor positions include transporting campers to and from program locations in our 15 passenger vans. Staff must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license to drive campers. Drivers receive a 2% pay increase. (Camp Gear Coordinators must be 18+).
• Demonstrated professional/volunteer experience with you and/or demonstrated skills and knowledge in our program areas strongly preferred
• Minimum of Basic First Aid & CPR certification by the start of camp (and we can point you in the right direction to get this done)
• Additional certifications and experience may be required for specific roles

Due to California laws, applicants with a CA driver's license must have a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) in order to drive campers in our 15 passenger vans. This restriction does not apply to non-California driver's license holders.

Work Schedule

• Schedule dependent on position and programs
