Spring Creek Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking an experienced Admissions and Marketing Director for our long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facility.

The Admissions and Marketing Director position is a dual role and will act as the liaison between Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation and referral sources to coordinate an efficient and timely application and pre-admission process and will be responsible for coordinating the admission process of inpatients/residents to Spring Creek.

The Admissions and Marketing Director will also be responsible for increasing and maintaining resident census by developing and strengthening relationships with new & existing referral sources that can refer residents to our facilities- specifically external marketing to Hospitals, Assisted Living Communities, and Home Care Agencies.

Job Responsibilities of the Admissions and Marketing Director include but are not limited to the following:

• Increase facility census

• Responsible for processing referrals and inquiries from hospitals, families and others.

• Responsible for timely review and communication of outcomes on all referrals.

• Onsite visits to facilities/hospitals to review potential new admissions.

• Marketing the facility programs and services to hospitals, assisted living communities, and other agencies.

• Determines prior to admission the type of coverage to be used as the primary source of payment and verifies the benefits available for care.

• Prepares admission packet for the case manager.

• Enters pre-admission and admission information into the computer system/generates face sheet.

• Sends insurance information to the Business Office and alerts appropriate department manager and facility team of projected admissions, bed changes, and discharges.

• Maintains a close working relationship with the team to assure appropriate and efficient decisions about prospective admissions.

• Maintains constant communication with referral sources, internal departments and case managers.

• Maintains a database of medical contacts and community resources.

• Coordinates timely notification to the DON and Administrator of all transfers out of the facility to assure they are contacted and reassessed as needed.

• Makes follow up calls to all inquiries or to others to help determine the specific reason for denial, non-admit, lost referral, or transferred patient/resident's decision not to return to Spring Creek.

• Give tours to all interested parties and makes follow up calls the day after the tour to those that received the tour.

• Plans facility events relating to any marketing efforts put forth by the facility.

• Maintains confidentiality of patient and facility information at all times.

• Works closely with patients/families, employees of the business office, case management staff, nurse liaisons, marketing department, medical records and other patient related departments.
