Gastro Health is currently looking for an enthusiastic full-time Administrative Support team member!

Our Administrative Support staff interact with patients daily, and they provide valuable administrative assistance to the physicians and care center providers. Our Gastro Health family can go home at the end of the day knowing they made a positive difference in our patients' lives.

Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for:

  • Support Clerical billing functions which include data retrieval, reconciliation, uploading of documents.
  • Sort EOB's and patient payments
  • Create deposit slips
  • Provider appropriate EMR notifications to pertinent end-user
  • Maintain recall system which includes documentation, scanning, mailing/emailing and faxing
  • Responsible for office supply inventory and management
  • Review error bucket; monitor queue for failed outbound faxes. Resend or review for accurate referring doctor information.
  • Maintain patient confidence by keeping patient records information confidential.
  • Answer calls from clinical staff pertaining to medical records.
  • Monitor Provider unlocked notes
  • Manage Chromwell monthly invoices and provide for billing
  • Monitor WATTS results – CDX and provide for billing
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year experience working in medical practice or similar setting
