Position Summary

The University of New Mexico’s Project ECHO has an exciting opportunity join our team as an Administrative Coordinator!

Project ECHO has experienced exponential growth in global outreach, engaging in new high-level initiatives such as the Audacious Project and Co-Impact. There has been demand for ECHO to work collaboratively with other departments and explore additional funding possibilities!

The Administrative Coordinator will support our initiatives with excellent communication skills and assist with developing campaigns that align with Project ECHO’s mission and marketing plans.

The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Providing all administrative support to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations and Sr. Corporate Relations Manager including, but not limited to, funder research, communications, stewardship and cultivation.
  • Managing development databases (Salesforce – ECHO and Advance – UNMF) and providing assistance and training to all donor-database users.
  • Serving as a liaison with potential and existing funders and partners to access availability and coordinate meetings.
  • Assisting in travel arrangements and logistics such as researching hotels, venues, and transportation (car rentals, flights, trains, etc.), creating itineraries, research and organizing bios of potential funders and partners scheduled to meet during travel, and assisting with travel reimbursements.
  • Maintaining analytical reports on fund raising activities; analyzing and summarizing financial and statistical data; assist management in the interpretation of results.
  • Creating procedures to ensure due diligence and best development practices.
  • Supporting the planning, design, and development of fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Maintaining all development records and data and ensure their accuracy and usefulness, for both developing and analyzing strategy.

Conditions of Employment
  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience using Salesforce and/or other customer relationship software
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change
  • Experience building successful collaborative relationships with healthcare and community stakeholders
