WHAT YOUR DAY IN THIS ROLE MIGHT INVOLVE AT OC OCALA FL:

SUMMARY

The Administrative Assistant will support the Controller in administrative tasks related to the financials of the business and driving a high functioning controls environment.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist during month-end and quarter-end closing activities to ensure expenses are recorded in the proper period
  • Perform all plant goods receipts for all purchase-order related purchases including raw materials, MRO spending, and plant services (outside contractor, etc.)
  • Execute daily intercompany sale to reconcile production in SAP vs. financial impact in non-SAP ERP system (Sage 50)
  • Scan and send copies of all invoices to shared-services team (Genpact) to process vendor payment
  • Manage Accounts Payable inbox to ensure vendors are being paid in a timely manner, per payment terms
  • Purchase office supplies through purchasing card
  • Ensure corporate policies are followed in the areas of record retention and goods receipts

COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE COMPENTENCIES

  • Must have the ability to operate a computer and MS Excel


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Leadership training
  • Must be able to learn the responsibilities of this position
  • Clerical or office experience. Experience handling sensitive data.

The employee should possess the ability to:

  • Must be able to squat, bend at the waist and knees freely
  • Exposure to temperature extremes
  • Exposure to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable
  • Bending and twisting
  • Repetitive Movements
  • Handle, control or feel objects, tools, or control
