Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare is seeking an experienced acute care nurse practitioner or a physician assistant/first assist for its pediatric and adult congenital heart surgery programs in San Antonio, TX.

Qualified Candidates:

• Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant and first assist program
• BS degree, MS degree or equivalent
• Experience in the cardiac specialty field or ICU, and/or cardiovascular service-line field with preference given to those candidates with experience in congenital heart care
• Texas license eligible
• Board certified by the NCCPA or equivalent
• Current American Heart Association BLS and PALS, and/or ACLS provider
• This is a great opportunity to work with our growing programs as a first assistant in surgery, in pre/post-surgical care, and encounter with patients at clinic
