The Connect55+ Activities Coordinator job responsibilities include the following:

• Onsite Management of the Connect55+ Activities program: Responsible for the overall onsite management of the Connect55+ Activities program and controlling the activities budget.
• Activity Programming: Work with the management team to create a full monthly calendar of activities for every month which will include a variety of different events.
• Conduct Activities: Implement fun and interesting activities to engage residents’ minds, bodies and spirits. Plan, coordinate and participate in a variety of resident activities and events. Involve all residents to find their niche in the community and its ongoings.
• Develop Activities beyond the scheduled events: Responsible for developing scheduled group activities beyond the routine calendared events, that provide engagement through the (biopsychosocial model or a holistic approach) as well as meaningful activities of daily living for all residents in the Connect55+ Active Adult Community. Guest lectures and entertainment.
• Support strategic partnerships with local community representatives in arts, education, health, etc.

Qualified Candidates will have the following characteristics:

• Meaningful onsite experience providing activities and events
• Comfortable in public speaking and engagement
• Experience working with Seniors a plus
• Computer knowledge
• Self-Starter
• Problem Solver
