Full Job Profile Pay Range:
This position is salaried (exempt) and not eligible for overtime/compensatory time.
$53,753.91 - $83,318.57

Hiring Wage Starting At:
$60,119.00 annually ($28.90 per hour)

Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skills.

Hiring Range: $60,119 - $74,000 USD Annual

Jefferson County Public Health is seeking to hire an Accreditation Coordinator to plan and facilitate all aspects of Jefferson County Public Health’s National Public Health Department Accreditation process. The Accreditation Coordinator also provides project management support to various projects related to Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH)'s planning and improvement efforts during lighter times in the accreditation cycle.

The ideal applicant is an experienced professional with a background in public health and effective leadership skills to join the Public Health department. This position provides the opportunity to work for a county that thrives on working collaboratively with its community members. Schedule: This position operates on a flexible schedule within the work week to be negotiated with the hiring manager. This position is hybrid, with mostly remote work and in-office work as needed.

Essential Duties:
The Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for:
Coordinating all aspects of the Public Health Accreditation Board's National Public Health Department Accreditation process.

Coordinating the department’s effort to remain in compliance with Public Health Accreditation Board's Standards and Measures though continuous sustainability planning, utilizing quality improvement to encourage advancement and performance management to ensure accountability.

Collecting, synthesizing, and preparing all documents related to program accreditation, reviewing each piece of information thoroughly before board review.

Acting as the primary point of contact for the Public Health Accreditation Board.

Independently and in collaboration with other team members, providing project management, program evaluation, change management, strategic planning, and quality improvement services to support JCPH programs and initiatives in achieving their goals.

Independently and in collaboration with other team members, providing training, technical assistance, and guidance to ensure staff members have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill their role in accreditation, project management, program evaluation, change management, strategic planning, and quality improvement activities.

Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting valid and reliable quantitative and qualitative data to inform projects.

Using information technology in accessing, collecting, analyzing, using, maintaining, and disseminating data.

Identifying pertinent data to collect based on project goals and objectives.

Using financial analysis methods in decision making about programs and services (i.e. cost effectiveness, return on investment).

Assisting with various other planning, improvement, and data activities.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimal Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in accreditation, project management, strategic planning, quality improvement, program evaluation, change management, or similar;

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Project Management, or related field;

Or:
Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Project Management or similar.

Minimum two years’ years’ related experience in accreditation, project management, strategic planning, quality improvement, program evaluation, change management, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Project Management or similar.

Three or more years of experience coordinating accreditation activities, preferably in public health.

Project management professional certificate or previous experience with project management disciplines including managing all project aspects including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing.

Previous experience working with public health, governmental or not-for-profit organizations.

Previous experience with facilitating diverse groups.

Tech savvy and well-versed in software and web-based applications, including Microsoft Suite.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Must have valid Colorado driver's license. If you are from out of state, you must obtain a valid Colorado driver's license within 30 days of hire date and you must not have any major violation conviction in the past three years.

Must provide immunization record at time of hire or prove immunity to comply with departmental Communicable Disease Control Policy within 30 days of hire date.
