Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Lead is responsible for supervising the daily tasks and long term project goals of the Accounts Receivable team. The Accounts Receivable Lead sets daily priorities and coordinates activities of the Accounts Receivable staff to meet department and company goals. This position reports directly to the Director Operations Accounting.

Major Areas of Responsibility:
  • Supervise Accounts Receivable teammates.
  • Prepare weekly work schedules, expedite work flow, and assign duties within the department.
  • Develop and Implement policies and procedures to streamline workflow.
  • Responsible for training A/R Clerks.
  • Balance workloads when Associates are out of the office and/or a position is vacant.
  • Coach and develop Associates.
  • Supervises the Accounts Receivable call center by matching call volume to on-call support and meeting Company call center standards.
  • Supervises staff in the preparation and application of customer deposits, daily account reconciliations, credit card settlements, refunds processing for wholesale customers and past due call reports.
Education, Experience, Skills:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 1 to 3 years related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong supervisory skills with ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Able to multi-task and work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent phone and communication skills.
  • Excel and Word experience a plus.
  • Team player with focus on timeliness, quality of work, attention to detail and process improvements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
