Accounts Payable Specialist
River City Roofing is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in our Peoria, IL office. The Accounts Payable Specialist will serve as the primary person for all payable accounts and managing financial vendor and partner relationships.
- Enter accounts payable data accurately and timely.
- Enter subcontractor accounts payable into electronic filing system.
- Process subcontractor payables within the contract payment terms.
- Process company credit card charges.
- Gather internal expense report data to ensure guidelines are being adhered to.
- Process weekly W-2 payroll to include commission calculations and payments.
- Collect and review for accuracy the lien waivers for job related payments.
- Respond and communicate with subcontractors and vendors on payment status.
- Maintain, process and prepare all required tax documents and reporting for local, state and federal compliance.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in accounts payable system, QuickBooks a plus.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Team player mentality and excellent written and verbal skills.

Previous experience in roofing or related trades
