Pike Construction Services is recruiting for an Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR) Supervisor, to join our Accounting department. This newly created position will be reporting out of our corporate office in Rochester, NY. As an AP/AR Supervisor, you will be providing direction and leadership to the AP/AR team, while creating efficiencies and improving methods of the AP/AR structure. This position includes being responsible for:

• Overseeing the employee and vendor credit card program, including compliance of Company policies
• Managing the Company s vendors and customers
• Selecting vendor payments and printing all Company checks as well as annual reporting compliances for vendor reporting
• Receiving, depositing, and recording all cash receipts of the Company, as well as reporting on past due customer balances
• The Company s Sales and Use Taxes. Including: establishing departmental procedures as it relates to tax exemption forms and processing all sales tax transactions and returns
• Developing and implementing a process for out of town lodging for Company employees who travel long term

Education/Experience/Knowledge:

• Associates Degree from an accredited institution in related field; and/or minimum of 3 years equivalent experience in an accounts payable/receivable role, required.
• Previous supervisory experience, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft office including Excel, required.
• Previous experience with a credit card management program, preferred.
