A rapidly growing fintech business is looking to hire an Accounts Payable professional to join their team on an interim basis. There is strong potential for this role to go permanent. The role offers hybrid working.

What you'll be doing as Accounts Payable Clerk includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ownership of accounts payable function
  • Liaising with heads of departments to obtain invoice approvals & checking purchase orders
  • Processing invoices and expenses
  • Obtain statements from suppliers and check to ledger
  • Set up of new suppliers, including checks on bank details
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding queries and payment dates
  • Generation of outstanding invoice report with commentary
  • Analysis and commentary for outstanding purchase orders report
  • Audit queries related to accounts payable
  • Support with bank reconciliations

Desirable Skills:

  • Accounts payable experience ideally in financial services
  • Experience using accountancy software packages and Excel
  • Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills
