Full Time - 39 hours per week
SALARY & BENEFITS:
$19.24 – $25.46 per hour. Complete package of fringe benefits including vacation and sick leave, health/dental/vision insurance, 17 paid holidays, and CalPERS retirement.
JOB SYNOPSIS & QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for initiating and preparing required forms and applications on behalf of clients to establish or maintain the Regional Center as representative/third party administrator for a variety of benefits payable to consumers; initiating and processing Trust account payments; processing and entering of new and changed scheduled monthly Trust account disbursements; processing changes regarding consumer benefits and notifying appropriate agencies; works as a liaison between Regional Center staff, the Social Security Administration, Medi-Cal, and care providers regarding representative payee functions; and tracking and reporting client wages to Social Security. Phone contact with professional staff and with vendors. Requires ability to set priorities and manage a variety of duties. Must be able to work with a fair degree of independence. Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience.
