Now Hiring ! We are looking for an experienced Accounting/Purchasing Clerk to join our Corporate office of a well established manufacturing company! This role handles a broad spectrum of accounting and purchasing duties including payment processing, record maintenance and general assistance with the overall operation of the Accounting/Purchasing Department

Job Responsibilities:

Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.

Prepare invoice packets to be paid by verifying transaction information, computing charges and refunds

Collections - reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments.

Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information

Maintains accounting ledgers by posting accurate transactions

Tracking all payments and expenditures

Ensure invoices are paid timely and accurately while adhering to departmental procedures of approval

Prepare/enter/track purchase orders

Set up and Maintain internal database with information on new and existing vendors

Prepare data entry, invoice, file customer invoices

Complete other special projects and tasks as requested by management

2+ years AP/AR/Collections experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Strong Teamwork mentality – collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams

Excellent attendance and punctuality

Detail oriented, able to balance multiple projects simultaneously
