Job description
Our client in Rutherford is seeking an interim Sr. Accounting Manager for a 3-6 month engagement. Our Sr. Accounting Manager will oversee one Sr. Accountant and produce the monthly financials for the company. Our Sr. Accounting Manager will also be responsible for in-house payroll processing and associated tax filings. The ability to work onsite 5 days/week and proof of Covid vaccinations is required. Must be able to hit the ground running.- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
- Reliable technology and analytical abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- 10+ years of recent relevant financial experience
- Command of Monthly Financial Statements
- Experience with Multiple Entities
- Strong familiarity with month end closings
- Comprehensive knowledge of in-house payroll
- Fixed Asset Accounting experience preferred
