Purpose:

Assist with a wide variety of general accounting duties and support.

Roles and Responsibilities: • Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable duties • Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and process shippers and sales billing

• Assists with a wide variety of general accounting duties and support including customer/vendor set up, and account collections on past due accounts • Responsible for reviewing and resolving freight charges
• Manage and maintain accounting files and vendor information • Identify areas of improvement and efficiencies and implement new processes
• Respond and inquire with customers and vendors for invoices, as needed • Work with various departments and all levels of management
• Work on special projects or requests, as needed

Requirements: • 4 to 6 years accounting related experience • Associate Degree preferred but not required

• Critical combination of accounting discipline and strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills • Must work well with others in a team-oriented environment • Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Outlook • Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy • Self-Starter and flexible in multi-tasking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,800.00 - $65,000.00 per year
