This position will support our programs by collecting co-payments and paying our vendors.

The FT Accounting Clerk will be a position in partnership with finance department directly impacting the Chicago metropolitan area.

  • Produce monthly invoices and distributes them to program participants. Process accounts payable, including check requests and scheduling/distribution of payments at least twice monthly. Scan financial documents into the finance drive, such as invoices, receipts, and correspondence received. Arranges and maintain the organization and safekeeping of accounting records and documents electronically.
  • Weekly cash collection at various sites.
  • Applicants should have a strong bookkeeping background, superior attention to detail, a positive work attitude, and enthusiasm.
Requirements:

This position requires minimally a High School Diploma plus 2 years’ office or booking experience; Associates degree preferred.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required, Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Knowledge with automated accounting/billing system a plus. Have knowledge of overall accounting practices.
  • Ability to work in the office Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
  • Background Check with fingerprints required.
