Job description
Local construction company has a full-time Accounting Assistant position available. Candidate must have bookkeeping and office experience in order to provide management with support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Bookkeeping
  • Business and job costing performance reporting
  • Reporting of A/P
  • Reporting of A/R
  • Assist with Payroll
  • Assist in maintaining spreadsheets, forms and procedures
COMPETENCIES:
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks delegated from different individuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent follow through
  • Detail oriented
  • Initiative to get things done, solve problems, be proactive
  • Analytical - ability to understand numbers, basic computations
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certifications and degree is a plus
  • 2 years experience working with QuickBooks required
  • 5 years bookkeeping experience
  • 5 years working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

  • QuickBooks: 2 years (Required)
