We are seeking an
Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
Perform facility related revenue accounting activities within prescribed time schedules and
- Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Perform and summarize variance analysis for patient revenue and accounts receivable
- Prepare and resolve outstanding issues on assigned account reconciliations
- Field and assess ad-hoc requests, producing clear and concise reports for stakeholders
- Support and drive Team/Company initiatives
- Understand and maintain strict adherence to internal controls over financial reporting
- BS in in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting required
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance preferred; healthcare experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite
- PeopleSoft Hyperion experience preferred
- Working knowledge of patient accounting systems and revenue cycle process preferred
