The Account Manager is responsible for renewing, managing, and selling Simplr’s CX solutions. The role will focus on these 3 core activities:

  • Renewing contracts for existing Simplr Partners that may include supporting Account Executives in the renewal process, managing the process on their own, or collaborating with Partner Success to complete the renewals.
  • Managing existing Simplr Partners that may include collaborating with Account Executives to manage larger enterprise customers and/or sole responsibility to manage Simplr Partners generally with annual revenue between $1B - $15B.
  • Selling Simplr’s CX solution that may include supporting Account Executives in their enterprise sales pursuits and/or sole responsibility for selling into accounts generally with annual revenue between $1B - $15B.

The successful candidate will have experience in the B2B selling process and an understanding of the entire sales cycle. Experience in the Customer Experience market is required. Their skill set will include sales experience in a high growth, technology-based environment that requires senior level client contact and the ability to drive transactions. This hybrid selling role requires the ability to execute as an individual contributor, as a team player, and to execute across the customer life cycle from prospecting to deal management to deal closure to contract renewals.

They must have the business acumen and sophistication to develop and execute a differentiated sales approach. Success in this role requires innovative thinking, urgency, and the ability to build sound business cases for enterprise class prospects and partners.

This role will report to the Simplr Chief Sales Officer with dotted line accountability to Account Executives they partner with on sales opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive bookings and revenue growth by meeting and exceeding performance metrics and quotas
  • Ensure that Simplr’s brand and value is communicated, understood and embraced by potential clients
  • Directly prospect new opportunities as well as work closely with Simplr’s Business Development Team to source new business
  • Support active sales cycles managed by Account Executives to accelerate deal execution and augment the selling efforts
  • Present and sell Simplr’s disruptive and innovative solution
  • Be willing to challenge the status quo and the outdated models we are changing
  • Build pipeline, momentum and anticipate industry opportunities and needs through a pro-active, creative approach
  • Experience in successfully “closing” complex sales
  • Disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting
  • Execute contract renewals for existing partners

Skills and Qualifications: Experience Required

  • 5+ years in the Customer Experience market with 3+ years in an outbound Business Development and/or Sales role
  • Experience selling B2B solutions ($100 to $300k+ annual contract value) in a competitive environment
  • Consistent record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Rapid relationship building skills—must have the ability to build rapport, uncover needs, identify options, prioritize stakeholder needs, and close sales
  • Familiarity with Force Management Command of the Message sales framework is a plus
  • Value articulation ability—must be able to effectively handle objections and communicate value over price
  • Strong sense or urgency and ability to execute sales activities efficiently
  • Strong presentation skills both in person and over zoom
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Travel required in this role
