Position Summary

An Account Executive will monitor overall facility operations at customer sites. This position is responsible for managing operations, maintenance, and overseeing in-house supervision of customer activities and/or projects. An Account Executive will manage contracts, work assignments, reporting, customer interface and administrative paperwork at the assigned specific facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage Multiple Account Managers On sites across the United States
  • Report Financially to EVP of Services monthly on work in progress. Including changes in contract value, profitability, and sales forecasting.
  • Manage CEC employees on assigned projects. Schedule crews and select qualified employees to perform site work according to facility agreements or contracts.
  • Initiate, direct, and monitor the performance of CEC staff. Take appropriate disciplinary action(s) and maintain site discipline.
  • Ensure contract terms and conditions are met or are at a level above the stated requirements.
  • Prepare proposals for additions, deletions, and changes to the contract scope as requested by customer.
  • Identify communication opportunities and resolve conflicts between the customer and contractor.
  • Oversee and foster customer satisfaction activities within the project(s).
  • Track, analyze, and trend project costs and other measurables.
  • Ensure the work crew follows all company safety practices and fully utilizes assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) each workday.
  • Perform safety audits.
  • Provide final interpretations to all blueprints, schematics, O&M manuals, and specifications.
  • Handle or oversee the disposition of required office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, safety reports, etc.
  • Responsible for overall project safety performance.
  • Assure employees are properly trained or instructed in performance of duties to which assigned.
  • Assure compliance with all CEC safety processes and protocols.
  • Investigate or assist in investigation and reporting of any accident or safety incidents involving jobsite employees.
  • Review and approve, as authorized, all expenditures for materials, tools, equipment, supplies and subcontracts.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma required.
  • A minimum of six (6) years experience in facilities management, including utility systems, personnel management, construction, fire alarm, safety, CMMS, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Must have experience with electrical, HVAC and/or CUP operations and repair.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to maintain required local, state or federal licenses or certifications.
  • Possess position required licenses. CFM or CPMM certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated work history showing increased responsibility and professional growth.
  • Strong organizational skills and participative management style desired.
  • Proven maintenance and repair knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and learn to use related company software products.

This job may work inside or outside with possible exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and weather elements in restricted or confined spaces, and on slippery or uneven surfaces. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

  • Must be able to travers and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing reaching, bending crawling, standing, or stretching.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. Move about on the feet regularly. Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • May require travel.
  • Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
  • Talk and hear, ability to communicate with others both written and orally and by telephone.
  • Possess good vision, normal or corrected. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Possesses good hearing, normal or corrected. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest), as needed.
  • Must be able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts, as needed. Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite.
  • Must be able to work in the presence of customers and their representatives with little or no interference or disruption to the customer while maintaining a professional and courteous image.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
