Job description
The Account Executive is accountable for achieving revenue growth targets of assigned accounts by providing superior solutions to our customers’ product decorating needs. This position is responsible for identifying opportunities and closing business for both new opportunities and new programs at existing customers. Account Executives are the key relationship manager with our customers and play a critical role in relaying trends or market needs from the field.
**This is a fully remote position, however candidates need to live in the Upper Great Lakes Region of the United States, ideally Michigan or Ohio, but Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois is acceptable**
**Travel is involved in this role to visit customers**

Account Executive Responsibilities

  • Identify new sales opportunities within assigned customers, and works cross-functionally with inside sales, operations, engineering, and quality to develop winning solutions.
  • Develop business case proposals for new opportunities, which outlines overall value for the customer.
  • Present any feasibility concerns to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
  • Review proposals, provide recommendation on product improvements, and resolve customer concerns.
  • Manage commercial issues for all new sales opportunities with new and existing customers, including the following: Negotiating terms and conditions and Payment terms and other contractual issues.
  • Coordinates and leads customer facing meetings, including the following: Business proposals, Annual or quarterly business reviews, Serigraph site visits, and Customer site visits.
  • Input and maintain all required information in CRM (Sales Force): Data is current and accurate, including opportunity detail, customer contacts, and additional program details.
  • Opportunity weighting for each potential opportunity is managed throughout the sales cycle.
  • Close business to ensure that revenue targets are achieved. 8. Support Serigraph current quality business system and ensure adherence to SPEC requirements.

Who We Are Looking for?

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Technical background and aptitude are preferred.
  • Minimum of five - seven (5-7) years’ experience in a sales / customer facing role.
  • Experience in automotive, power sports, industrial, or commercial segments preferred.
  • Must be able to document a progressive track record of securing new business and growing profitable sales year over year.
  • Sales savvy with technical aptitude and ability to promote and sell new products to existing customers.
  • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships and secure new business.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve results.
  • Positive thinker with aggressive, can-do attitude.
  • Highly professional with a positive image.
  • Ability to present commercial and technical information effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to motivate and influence people’s decision-making process.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – writing, spreadsheets, presentations, data bases).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude – the ability to listen, understand, and communicate engineering information from the customer to the company and back to the customer.
  • Negotiation skills – the ability to secure win-win solutions with customers in challenging situations.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Travel Requirement: Meet with major customers a minimum of one time per year or more if needed.
