We are looking for an Account Coordinator for our Existing Business Sales Team. As an Account Coordinator, you will work directly with our Lead Account Managers to ensure customers are getting the most out of dscout by driving efficiency and accuracy between the customers and cross functional partners you will support. This role requires a true teammate who is highly collaborative and self-sufficient. Account Coordinators will handle multiple projects and organize many moving parts, appropriately prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. This role will focus on research project management and organization delivering value through speed, accuracy, and platform knowledge.

What you will do (let’s call them Responsibilities):

  • Kick off project intake and quoting process for simple projects and share information cross functionally to ensure accuracy and success of project execution.
  • Manage the entire internal documentation process for project upsells, from creation to billing, in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance department to ensure projects are invoiced accurately and customer billing questions are resolved with urgency and efficiency.
  • Support customer communications by addressing basic platform and capabilities questions, provisioning platform access, resolving basic troubleshooting issues, and scheduling meetings involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain a database of projects and opportunities organized by the customer team with complete and accurate purchase information that is easily accessible cross functionally.
  • Identify and escalate customer and internal process issues through appropriate escalation paths.


What you need to have (let’s call them Desired Skills and Background):

  • Minimum 2+ years working in a customer facing role.
  • Amazing written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills with internal and external teams.
  • Detail oriented. You have a keen eye for detail and care deeply about consistency.
  • Proficient in GSuite, Salesforce, Microsoft Office and Apple OS.


What is nice to have (let’s call them Additional Skills):

  • 1+ years working for Software as a Service (SaaS) company.
  • You are able to meet and organize around many moving parts, appropriately set and manage expectations and still have fun along the way.
  • You think on a strategic level and act tactically. You love evaluating things from a high level, but also have a technical curiosity and enjoy working directly with products and processes.
  • Highly motivated, self-sufficient and able to operate autonomously. You demonstrate the ability to launch an initiative, take ownership and follow through.
  • A confident cross-functional team player: working to keep people from multiple disciplines aligned toward the same goal.
  • Experience working in a software company that also offers professional services.
  • Be (or be willing to become) an expert in research trends, stay informed of data-driven industry news, emerging technologies and competitor offerings.
