ACADEMIC ENDOCRINOLOGIST

Tufts Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to join our expanding, forward-looking Endocrinology Team. We invite applications from highly qualified BC/BE applicants who are collaborative, have strong clinical and communication skills, and are committed to excellent patient care. The successful candidate will provide outstanding clinical care and meaningfully engage in research and education. The opportunity includes clinical responsibilities at Tufts Medical Center’s Boston Campus as well as community-based sites. Applicants with a strong interest in thyroid and/or bone health, and medical education are encouraged to apply. The clinical and academic focus of the position is flexible, and the leadership is committed to supporting the successful candidate in developing and growing areas of influence and expertise.

The Endocrinology clinical team has 12 physicians, 3 nurse practitioners and an RN/CDE. We provide clinical care at the Boston campus and also in three community-based practices (Quincy, Norfolk and Framingham). We have an endocrine fellowship program with a total of four fellows, and we actively participate in the education of internal medicine residents and students. The Division has strong research programs in neuroendocrinology, diabetes, bone disease and nutrition.
