JOB DESCRIPTION – Abrasive Blaster
Abrasive blasting, Powder coating and Industrial paint facility is seeking an Abrasive Blaster who is interested in long-term career growth and has the strategic ability to plan for their professional future.
Job Summary:
Utilizes abrasive blasting equipment to prepare metal surfaces to receive powder or liquid paint.
- Operates abrasive blasting equipment for removal of scale, flux, corrosion, dirt and oils from parts
- Uses hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools
- Use of forklifts for moving parts and loading/unloading delivery trucks
- Identifies and reports defective parts.
- Maintains a clean, orderly, and a safe work area.
- Maintains a commitment to teamwork and a positive, supportive attitude to all personnel.
- Observes and complies with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
