As we celebrate our 40th year in business, we are seeking skilled AV technicians to join our team. As a part of our production team, you'll have the chance to work in some of the most beautiful venues around, setting up and operating audiovisual equipment for a variety of events, from high-end corporate conferences to professional meetings to intimate gatherings.

But this isn't just a technical role. We're looking for someone who can troubleshoot and problem-solve on the fly, as well as provide friendly and professional customer service to our clients. As the face of our company at these events, you'll need to be confident, charming, and personable.

Your duties will include:

• Set up and operate audio-visual equipment for hotel events, including meetings, conferences, and conventions
• Troubleshoot technical issues with audio-visual equipment
• Collaborate with event planners to determine audio-visual needs for each event
• Recommend equipment and technology upgrades to enhance the quality of services provided
• Work with hotel staff to ensure seamless integration of audio-visual services with other event services
• Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in audio-visual services for events
• Be proficient in operating audio-visual equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and lighting systems
• Have strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with event planners, hotel staff, and guests
• Have the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
