A/R & Collection Specialist
Job description
Some of the duties of this position include:
- Contact customers, via emails and/or phone calls, with overdue accounts receivable and request payment.
- Maintain customer contact information and records of customer contacts, with attempted contacts, and results.
- Resolve issues past due date and/or refer to management.
- Communicate with our attorney for escalated issues when needed
- Other assigned tasks, as needed.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and direction from supervisors and to work with management on what needs to be done in any difficult situation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a changing work environment
- Strong computer skills, with proficient with Excel.
EDUCATION:
College Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business desirable.
Schedule: "Normal" 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm.
