- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field(s) of Math for grades 6-8 or an elementary educator license.

- A desire to design learning that allows learners a varied pace in which they learn a new concept.

MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER – GRADE 6 MATH & ELA/SOCIAL STUDIES– HERITAGE MIDDLE SCHOOL
POSITION: 6th Grade Math & Social Studies OR Math & ELA Teacher - Heritage Middle School
TERM: 188 day contract beginning with the 2023 -2024 School Year
SUMMARY: The classroom teacher creates an engaging, nurturing and safe learning environment that allows students to develop their physical, social, and emotional wellbeing; providing instruction in academics, future ready skills, knowledge, and dispositions to be compassionate, lifelong-learners, and contributing citizens in a rapidly changing world.
QUALIFICATIONS:
SALARY: Commensurate with experience and education, the starting salary for this position follows the Teacher Salary Schedule, which is subject to pending negotiations. (Please refer to the 2022-2023 Teacher Salary Schedule for reference).
The WFPS District funds the entire 11.75% employee contribution to TFFR, as well as the 12.75% employer contribution. WFPS offers a competitive salary and benefits package!
