QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. Must possess a valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with endorsement(s) required for the position.

2. Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree

3. Must meet all State requirements for position.

7. Exemplary organization, communication and leadership skills are essential attributes.

8. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.

9. Punctual and consistent attendance.

10. Strong knowledge of classroom organization and management skills.

11. Willingness to particiapate in building wide initiatives that include professional learning communities.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to:

1. Prepare for assigned classes and show written evidence of such preparation.

2. Provide instruction based on the State and District Common Core Standards essential learnings.

3. Attend and participate in faculty and team meetings.

4. Participate in workshops and other staff development programs that support building goals.

5. Be an effective member of a professional learning community by establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with others.

6. Clearly communicate student performance expectations.

7. Assess and provide feed back on a regular basis.

8. Communicate regularly and positively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and behavior.

9. Be flexible to the demands of the position and manage time effectively.

10. Work with students in an enthusiastic, supportive, and consistent manner.

11. Maintain classroom discipline and an orderly educational program.

12. Use technology in the teaching and managing of students.

13. Work with and assume the responsibility for the productive use of classroom para educators.

14. Enforce and uphold all District and Building rules, regulations and policies.

15. Perform other duties as assigned.


Specific Details:

Monday-Friday 7.5 Hours per day starting the 2023-24 school year.
