Job description
We are in need of a sharp, hard-worker to join our team as a 1st SHIFT SHIPPING CLERK. Our manufacturing facility is a clean environment and we make safety a high priority.
WHAT YOU LL DO:
- Review the day s open order report
- Move product throughout different areas using forklift and/or fork truck
- Make sure orders are complete and on the dock.
- Verify how to handle orders that may be short or over
- Properly package product
- Load trucks when needed
- Generate required paperwork for shipment and ship using proper carrier
- Proactively look for ways to stay busy and helpful wherever needed
WHO YOU ARE:
- You have strong problem solving and math skills
- Are EXTREMELY detail oriented and verify the accuracy of every shipment
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- You have a positive, can-do attitude
- Experience in shipping and/or warehouse work
- A solid and stable work history
- Valid driver s license
- Computer experience
