Fabricator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Metal Fabricator for a company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for producing various sized and shaped metal cylinders.
Pay Rate
$15.50 per hour days.
$16.00 per hour nights
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
Monday through Friday 6:00pm-6:00am
Fabrication Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow diagrams, blueprints, or otherwise printed directions to fabricate cylinders of various shapes and sizes using hand and power tools.
- Shape, cut, or bend sheets of metal using hand and power tools
- Assemble items as instructed by the Production Coordinator or Department Lead
- Read and interpret blueprints and / or drawings to determine the specific fabrication requirements
- Ensure work is completed safely with a great level of focus and attention, while adhering to all ISO and OSHA standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other shop drawing aids
- Demonstrated competency in basic hand and power tool usage
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Must be flexible and responsive to fast paced work environment, with the ability to work well under pressure. Above average problem-solving skills needed.
