1st shift openings are 'entry-level, tack welding' and will start at $18.93/hr.
Position: MIG Welder - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Job Details:
- Position: Welder - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
- Salary info: $20.04 - 24.50/hr, determined by weld test score; full benefits available.
- Shift options: 2 pm - 10 pm, 10 pm - 6 am (most positions require training on 1st shift).
- Monday - Friday: 6 hours on Saturday if on mandatory overtime.
Job Description:
- Perform MIG Welding on structural steel components such as chutes, guards, baffles, back sheets, and other miscellaneous parts.
- Follows blueprints and shop drawings.
- Lay out components, align, and fit components together.
- Repairs products by straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
- Set up equipment and weld parts; use drills, grinders, reamers, and impacts as necessary.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Operate different torches and grinders.
- Follow all safety standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a MIG welding role.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Must be able to pass written and physical welding tests.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and audio test.
