About the role
As Warehouse Operator you will be the responsible of loading and unloading of goods in a correct and safe manner, operating counterbalance forklift truck, accurately pick, kit or deliver materials to schedule, ensure that work ethics satisfy FIFO and Stock Accuracy in the headquarters of
Plymouth.

37 hour working week

Set working hours Mon – Thurs 09:00 to 17:00 & Fri 09:00 to 16:30

Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
-
Counterbalance forklift truck license
-
Previous stores or material control experience
-
Good numerical skills
-
Attention to detail
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
-
Material handling
-
PC literate
-
Stock control methods e.g. FIFO
-
Use of Kanban
Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll be responsible for:
-
Loading and unloading of goods in a correct and safe manner
-
Operating counterbalance forklift truck
-
Accurately pick, kit or deliver materials to schedule
-
Ensure that work ethics satisfy FIFO and Stock Accuracy
-
High quality of work is maintained
-
Ensure that all material are identified correctly
-
Correct administration of paperwork
-
Update ERP system on all material transactions
-
Disposal of waste / recyclable materials
-
Daily check on material handling equipment
-
Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
-
To be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures.

Complete quarterly ethics module as advised by BPO
-
To fully comply with all Quality, Environmental Health and Safety directives including but not limited to PPE, Accident Reporting, Cardinal Rules, RAMS, ACE
