Exciting opportunity to join the vocational team at South Oaks Hospital as a full time Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, to perform tasks related to transitioning youth, school to work services, evaluation, job development and placement. Join our growing team as we provide outstanding career exploration, work readiness and related skills to various populations with different abilities. Candidate should be familiar and preferably experienced in the areas of transitioning youth, working with school districts, employers, working with ACCES-VR, OPWDD and have Masters Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling or related field. Requires experience/knowledge of vocational assessments, data collection, must have excellent communication skills, documentation skills and understanding of disabilities in relation to employment. LMHC and or CRC preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
