Gpac is working with a steller nonprofit that is looking for a new VP of Finance to join their team! It is an on-site, full-time position in Covina, CA.

The VP of Finance is a member of the leadership team, reporting to the President/CEO. He/she will be principally responsible for leading financial management best practices, including budgeting and forecasting, tracking metrics, and periodic reporting to company leaders and principals.

Skills and Abilities:

• Have the ability to work with and/or manage all types and levels of personnel, including physicians, nurses, administrators, bankers, vendors, etc. in a effective and professional manner.
• Be able to think strategically and to implement long and short range plans for organizational development.
• Maintain accurate records, perform statistical analysis and interpret data.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Has ability to do some travel to regional offices, to seminars and meetings, and the like.
• Regular attendance at corporate office required.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible, open to change and accepting of new and unique responsibilities.
• Good reasoning abilities and sound judgement.
• Must be trustworthy and discrete with sensitive and confidential information.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be a CPA with 5+ years of accounting experience.

Experience:

• 3 years or greater in a healthcare related field is preferred.
• 5+ years leading a team
