Veterinary Assistant/Laboratory Assistant
Valley Center Veterinary Clinic is looking for a veterinary assistant/laboratory assistant to complete our clinic! We are, to quote Pat Lencioni, looking for someone who is "hungry, humble, and smart." We are looking for someone who sees this position as an opportunity to join us in doing meaningful work with excellence, not just as a J.O.B.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working different roles and being cross trained. For this position, our ideal candidate is a quick-learner, self-motivated, and has a passion to help animals. We are looking for someone who loves working on a team and being a part of an industry that gives back to the community and patients.

Qualifications:

- passionate about taking care of pets AND their owners

- able to handle exam room prep, surgical prep, laboratory testing, and client communication (list not exhaustive)

- good computer skills are a must

- attention to detail

- self-starter

- excellent/bright and adds value in interactions with clients and staff

- high personal integrity

- motivated by customer service

Schedule:

- Full time

- 4 Days per week, guaranteed 1 weekday off per week

- 2 Saturdays per month

- Flexible time off

*Pay is negotiable following 90 day probationary period*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $14.00 per hour
