Seeking qualified senior project records reviewer having a minimum of 10 years of experience with the preparation and review of Virginia Department of Transportation Construction Records. The role of this position will be to provide the review, preparation and submittal of final estimates, final reviews of construction records, materials notebooks and other duties related to construction engineering and inspection services and/ or the post construction process. Services include complete review of all project documentation and recordkeeping on construction and maintenance projects in the preparation of the Final Estimate. Tasks also include verifying records present a factual representation of the work performed by the contractor, work was paid for in accordance with plans and specifications, and required documentation was included in the Finals Record Package. It is expected that this position will require working knowledge of:
VDOT’s Road and Bridge Specifications, Road and Bridge Standards, Construction Manual, Inspector Manual and Post Construction Manual
Use of construction management software SiteManager, PlanGrid and AWP
Use of electronic filing systems ProjectWise and SharePoint
Mathematics including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
Functional computer usage including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite software
