Summary: Greer Industries, Inc. is seeking Underground miners with previous mining experience. The positions will perform a variety of duties in an underground mine setting. Positions include: Heavy Equipment Operators, Welders, Blasters, Plant Operators, Mechanics, Electricians, Laborers, etc.

What you'll get to do:

• Work safely and follow all federal and state laws and regulations as well as Company and Site Specific policies.
• Be willing to work in an underground environment.
• Safely and efficiently operate mobile equipment in an underground environment.
• Conduct and document pre-operational safety inspections on assigned equipment.
• Perform maintenance on plant equipment.
• Communicate repair and safety issues to supervisor and/or management.
• Be able to work weekends and overtime as business demands dictate.
• Perform within the guidelines of federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous Mining Experience
• Experience working in an underground/surface mine environment
• Frequently lift 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• MSHA Part 48 training (Recommended)
• Must pass Company/ATF background investigation
• Complies with all federal, state, and local guidelines.

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
