Transformation Managers are responsible for leading changes within an organization. They work with a variety of stakeholders to implement new strategies, processes and technologies that will positively impact the IT Users Experience.

Transformation managers may be tasked with leading implementation of new technology systems or updating existing ones. They may also be responsible for developing new policies or procedures related to these changes. In many cases, they act as liaisons between different departments or teams to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding these changes. Partner with the customer to identify meaningful innovation and transformation opportunities and then leverage strong relationship skills both internally and externally to drive to completion.


Business Transformation Manager Job Duties:

A Transformation Manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

  • Understand current state and required steps to transition users to new tools and processes.
  • Coordinating with IT teams to design and develop new systems or processes.
  • Developing a business case for each project and presenting it to senior leadership for approval.
  • Developing a detailed plan for implementing the new system or process based on the needs identified in the business case.
  • Establishing communication plans to notify clients, partners, and other stakeholders about changes in processes or procedures.
  • Work with CRM and PRM business leads to help drive alignment and standardization of requirements and processes where possible.
  • Monitoring the progress of each project throughout its life cycle to ensure that deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Analyzing data to determine where improvements can be made to increase efficiency or effectiveness of processes.
  • Continually look for opportunities to innovate and improve processes.
  • Partner with the customer to identify meaningful innovation and transformation opportunities and then leverage strong relationship skills both internally and externally to drive to completion.
  • Manage project tracking and communication plans with customers.


Skill Sets expected for a Transformation Manager:

  • Knowledgeable in Business Agility
  • Knowledge in Project Management and Agile Methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of IT functions, Global ITO Outsourcing, Self-motivated, able to work independently and reliably.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage large complex global projects.




  • Minimum 10 years in IT workplace support
  • Building Customer Relationship - Business and Technical
  • Project management and tracking duties
  • Experience in customer experience management
  • Experience in business and digital transformation initiatives
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, willing to take risks to achieve the maximum gains
  • Proven organizational and decision-making skills
