Execute specific training programs. Deploy process related training and developmental training for the Covington Georgia Site. Make a difference


How you will contribute:


Deployment of process related and developmental training


  • Deploy process related and developmental training
  • Facilitate the qualified trainer program to include instructor led and on the job training courses
  • Track above programs progression and completion for applicable teams
  • Manage continuing education programs
  • Prepare reports on training completion and update teams on training progress
  • Review training documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements
  • Development, deployment monitoring of training effectiveness program
  • Coach operations team assigned trainers to higher levels of performance
  • Complete special projects related to training or continuous improvement
  • Prepare reports on training completion and effectiveness
  • Manage the training calendar (i.e., ILT, NEO, etc.),
  • Implement training activities guided by local or global programs.
  • Manage deployment of EHS/Quality incident response training with operations.
  • Support internal and external inspection requests for training reports
  • Provide guidance for data entry, training assignments and curricula generation.
  • Coordinate external vendor training. (POs, rooms, schedule, send invites, manage invoices, etc.)
  • Support business units with design, development, and implementation of training curricula
  • Provide guidance and direction regarding training requirements. Help update minimum training requirements in the LMS
  • Deliver training
  • Selects vendor and consultants to meet specific training needs
  • Support change management efforts for successful implementation of services/solutions.
  • Create training materials to meet our needs


What you bring to Takeda:


Education and Experience Requirements


High school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of related experience or bachelors' degree in science, engineering or other related technical field and some related experience.


Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies


  • Will read and follow detailed written/electronic instructions.
  • Be able to work on teams.
  • Must have customer service and leadership attitude to take ownership of problems.
  • Will read, write and converse in English.
  • Database management experience
  • Learning management system experience and functionality


Complexity and Problem Solving


  • Support operations teams to develop need-based training plans.
  • Work with operations teams on Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Root cause analysis to ensure sustainable solutions.


Internal and External Contacts


  • Operation Leads, Managers and Supervisors
  • Train Supervisor / Manager
  • Technical Training Team


Other Job Requirements


  • Facilitate on shift delivery of training as needed (non-routine).
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Will work in controlled environments requiring special gowning. Will follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body.

Important Considerations


At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. You may:


  • Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
  • Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
  • Work in a cold, wet environment.
  • Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
  • Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
