C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, direct hire Training & Quality Technician in Jefferson City.

Salary/hours for Training and Quality Technician: $40K/year + full benefit package; full-time

Responsibilities for Training and Quality Technician:

• evaluates employee performance to gauge where skills are lacking
• creates training programs to address skill gaps in employee
• develops onboarding programs for new employees to help them get acquainted with the organization
• researches new teaching and training method
• finds creative and interesting techniques in delivering information to help employees gain a solid understanding of the materials; adjust training technique to reach specific groups of people, as needed
• know the material being taught intimately, allowing to effectively respond to employee questions
• creates and manages a training budget
• attends various seminars and training sessions and Train the Trainer
• tracks employee training status for purpose of compliance and engagement
• participates in community outreach and development

Requirements for Training and Quality Technician:

• Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, education, communication or related field
• prior teaching or staff training experience
• knowledge of various teaching/training methods and approaches
• skill in using Excel spreadsheets and accurately entering/maintaining data
• ability to identify gaps in skills and develop trainings to improve deficiencies
• ability to display strong organizational skill and communicate effectively
• ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel for work, including potential overnight stays
• ability to pass required background checks
