About the Job
Allen Media Group seeks a Manager of Traffic Operations for Syndication television ad sales department. This position is a key contributor to the continued success of the company and our clients. This role will specifically focus on supporting Allen Media Group’s Syndication Sales team, which will require supporting their business as well as on call requirements and responsibilities. The primary purpose of the Manager of Traffic Operations is to approve the scheduling of all Allen Media Group sold media placements to maximize revenue.
Key Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
Approve sold media placements in commercial logs for AMG syndication programs- Validate media placements based on client requests, competitive separation, and copy availability
- Maintain close collaboration with Pricing and Inventory to manage daily inventory changes
- Communicate with ad agencies to ensure proper commercial rotation and delivery of commercial spots
- Build formats for new shows and specials as needed.
- Generate reports for ad agencies and internal teams
- Alert team members, sales, and management of any issues that will inhibit or delay log schedules
- Maintain close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to solve problems efficiently
- Hire, train, and motivate a team of Traffic Coordinators
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
Knowledge, Varied Skills, and Abilities:
Great organizational and time management skills- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and complete work assignments in a timely and accurate manner
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with managers and other levels of personnel, vendors, and clients
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Taking initiative and be a self-starter and team player
- Adaptability and flexibility to shift focus on new priorities
- Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Google mail, and internet proficiency required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
- Wide Orbit Network experience preferred
- A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in Television Syndication Traffic
- A minimum of 3-5 years in Management
- Four-year college degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
Position Salary range: $75 - 80k
The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience.
