The events manager is responsible for end-to-end coordination for events hosted and powered by Tallo. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders for a range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

  • Works collaboratively with multiple teams to conceptualize, develop, and execute events that provide a high quality experience for Tallo users
  • Event creation and registration page creation
  • Provide event management and support for each event, including goal setting and budget (if applicable)
  • Schedule event team meetings
  • POC for partner participants for planning, onboarding, and reporting
  • Coordinate marketing requests
  • Equipment and conference material request
  • Manage Tallo volunteers assisting with an event
  • Work with data team to pull analytics about event participation
  • Manage virtual platform events and onboard talent seekers
  • Work with education team for educator outreach for event promotion
  • Utilize event tracker for each event and update overall event calendar
  • Create and share partner toolkit for each event
  • Schedule dress rehearsal/event training for each event
  • Send calendar invite for live events for internal and external POCs
  • Provide post-event communication to hosts and attendees
  • Manage event recordings and distribution
  • Schedule and host debrief with internal and external stakeholders
  • Create, send, summarize feedback surveys

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or
  • 3–5 years of event management experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); web proficiency.
  • Zoom platform, hosting, and presenting

  • This is a home-based position. This position is open to residents of, and may be performed remotely from Washington, D.C., and from any state.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

  • We anticipate the salary range to be $37,306 to $74,268. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
