Job Summary:

The Talent Development Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and facilitating learning solutions by applying talent development strategies that are effective and relevant to the business.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $2500 Sign-on Bonus
  • Base Salary + 10% annual bonus

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Facilitate training for Corporate Staff’s development (50%)

  • Facilitate Corporate Staff training.
  • Measure training progress and determine employee success.
  • Identify under-performers and make recommendations.
  • Facilitate additional training where applicable.

Instructional Design (30%)

  • Conduct needs analysis and collaborate with subject matter experts to identify departmental training needs.
  • Create instructional material: courses, curriculum, participant/facilitator guides, and training manuals.
  • Design and redesign content to optimize learning and match learners’ needs.

Administer LMS (20%)

  • Manage the LMS capabilities such as reporting, feature discovery, and implementation, learner management, course deployments, etc.
  • Troubleshoot learning plans and course accessibility issues as needed.
  • Act as an SME on Docebo LMS; collaborate cross-functionally, train other team members as needed, and answer questions

· Stay up to date with the latest technologies, tools, techniques, and methodologies in the learning and development area and make recommendations for future consideration

Education/Experience:

Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in education, instructional design, training, and development, or a similar program
  • 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Articulate 360 (or a comparable content authoring tool for eLearning development) is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating training.
  • Experience utilizing the ADDIE method is preferred.
  • Experience utilizing an LMS.
  • Able to identify gaps in training and development.
  • Fundamental understanding of adult learning principles and learning styles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
