An aerospace client is looking for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner who will perform full lifecycle recruiting for specialized skills within Engineering and Information Technology.

Position: Talent Acquisition Business Partner
Location: Linthicum Heights, MD 21090
Payrate: $27.30/hr. - $34.57/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 months or longer

***Position will be remote; prefer candidates within 2 hours driving of Linthicum, MD as there will be occasional on-site work. ***

  • Will work in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and creativity.
  • Will guide applicants through the recruiting process and use effective techniques to close the deal.
  • Will use thought leadership when working with hiring teams and demonstrate strong oral communications skills.
  • Not afraid to leverage the power of talent market intelligence/research to drive strategic, effective, and innovative sourcing strategies that ultimately support our mission.
  • Comfortable managing competing demands, accepting constructive feedback, adaptable and flexible to changing business requirements.

Basic Qualifications
  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a recruiting (technology) or sourcing recruiting role (agency or corporate) with an emphasis on lead generation, candidate quality, and client management OR Masters and 4+ years’ experience, OR an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Successful demonstration of full-life cycle staffing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a consultant/ advisor to hiring managers or clients to drive business results and influence change.
  • Ability to understand relevant technical skills, target companies and user groups.
  • Ability and willingness to support occasional travel/ on-site events throughout the Mission Systems sector.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience recruiting cleared (Secret and above) engineering talent in cyber, intelligence, engineering, or another technical domain.
  • Experience with technical recruiting with demonstrated success hiring engineers, physicists, scientists, or other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related positions.
  • Background in agency recruiting.
  • Familiarity with skill requirements for DoD customers.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; able to manage multiple high priority projects effectively in a high volume, fast-paced service environment.
  • Experience with server-based applicant tracking systems, ideally Workday.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective ways to build talent pipelines and tactical research.
  • Active participant in social, digital and/or other alternative sourcing techniques.

At a minimum, a 7-year background check, education verification, employment verification, and drug screen will be conducted upon hire. Your suitability for employment is contingent upon successfully passing these required pre-employment screenings.
