As a Systems Test Engineer, you will be developing and sustaining systems using current technologies and others yet to come. Northrop Grumman's Space Systems Sector is seeking applicants for a position on the Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program as a Systems Test Engineer. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO, and up to 25% travel may be required.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Support the SMORS agile software development teams focused on DEVSECOPS solutions
• Support the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule and cost constraints
• Assist team in development of innovative Test Automation solutions
• Participate in, prepare and execute comprehensive system/element level test plans and procedures
• Support system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews
• Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.
• Review system engineering documentation to ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent and complete
• Support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system integration testing
• Participate in engineering peer reviews as a document originator or reviewer to ensure technical quality and engineering rigor is appropriate
• Participate in project technical risk analysis and mitigation

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) with 2 years of relevant experience; 0 years of related experience with a STEM Master's degree
• Active/Current Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance or higher to be considered
• Experience with automated testing techniques and tools
• Technical documentation and analysis experience
• Experience in Agile development processes
• Current Security+ certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity and/or experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development processes
• Familiarity and/or experience with real-time operating systems
• Familiarity and/or experience with emulation/virtualization technologies
• Familiarity with ground-based radars, familiarity with phased array radars – Ideally with Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) / PAVE Phased Array Warning System (PAVE PAWS), or the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS)
• Experience using test automation tools and writing basic test scripts using Java or python programming languages
• Experience in Linux scripting using bash or python

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $77,200 - $115,800
