The Alaka’ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a System Administrator to support our government customer at Fort Gordon, GA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manage and maintain dynamic server and desktop environment to include but not limited to Microsoft IIS, Microsoft server, Apache Server, MySQL, Microsoft SQL and other dynamic services. Ability to maintain servers running various services such as domain controllers, active directory, file shares, group policy.
  • Have frequent contact with customers and must maintain good customer relations as well as understand and apply the processes of project management.
  • Install, configure and manage physical and virtual routers, switches, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDUs), servers, etc.
  • Provide production support to include problems resolution, technology moves, new user's configuration, hardware, build and operate functions, operating systems, application support, desktops/laptops roll-outs, administration, etc.
  • Monitor web applications, servers and other systems using both manual methods and automated tools.
  • Serves as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO)/ Information Assurance Network Officer (IANO).
  • Assist the ISSMs in meeting their duties and responsibilities.
  • Implement and enforce all DoD IS and PIT system cybersecurity policies and procedures, as defined by cybersecurity-related documentation.
  • In coordination with the ISSM, initiate protective or corrective measures when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is discovered and ensure that a process is in place for authorized users to report all cybersecurity-related events and potential threats and vulnerabilities to the ISSO.
  • Ensure that all DoD IS cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
  • Support implementation of G6 policies and procedures.
  • Develop comprehensive document naming conventions, data tagging policies, and data organization for the unit.
  • Assist the G6 to design briefings, text documents, templates, and other recurring products.
  • Assist the G6 to provide expertise and assist in the training in using Networking tools, processes, and systems.
  • Remain abreast of current and future trends in Cloud computing and content virtualization.
  • The candidate shall possess the programming background and ability to write and/or modify programming scripts as needed in order to meet requirements.
  • Provide support for mobile devices within the organization for mobile device services, support, troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Serve as VTC Administrator for NIPR, SIPR and JWICS.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Be familiar with DevOps business practices
  • Possess the ability to install, operate, and maintain configuration management software and remote execution engine
  • Have knowledge of cloud and virtualization
  • Possess at least five (5) years of experience in IT desktop support, IT Service Desk support
  • Mobile Device Manager coordinate cell provider for device and service concerns and issue; Subject matter expert to resolve cell phone issues.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Be familiar with completely automating PXE boot processes using UEFI firmware in a GNU/Linux environment (to include secureboot, etc.)
  • Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 (70-410) and Configuring Advanced Server 2012 Services (70-412), 70-740 Installation, Storage and Compute with Windows Server 2016 or equivalent

DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

  • Baseline certification: IAT II - one of the following: Security + CE, CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP
  • Installing and Configuring Windows 10 (70-698) or MD-100 and MD-101

CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Final Secret Clearance (cannot be interim) - TS/SCI Preffered.
