Swim Lessons with Mary LLC is a private swim school in Greenville, SC. We teach kids and adults of all ages how to swim from water safety, to basics, to advanced technique. All our lessons are 30 minutes and one on one with the instructor. We incorporate tons of games and fun to ensure our students are engaged and have a great experience while they are learning. We teach at the Prisma Health Life Center in downtown Greenville and also travel to our clients' pools.

General responsibilities:

• Cultivate an educational, safe and encouraging environment for our students
• Plan out lessons and track each students' progress
• Be aware of safety hazards and always maintain supervision of the child
• Be punctual, polite and professional. Always arrive a little early to your lessons and make sure you have reliable transportation.
• Be able to adapt your teaching style and methods according on the age, fear and skill level of each student.
• Shadow our instructors before you begin teaching
• Develop and maintain positive rapport and relationships with our swim families, students and team.
• Maintain good, clear and quick communication with our customers regarding their questions, comments and concerns and help to schedule makeup lessons in the event of cancellations
• ​Remain alert to emergency situations at all times and be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Have a BLAST working with our awesome swim kiddos!

Pay starts at $18/hour. Opportunities to work from 6 to 25+ hours/week. Paid Training.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
