Osha Thai Kitchen and Sushi is a Thai and sushi restaurant in the Downtown Village District of Holly Springs, NC.

Responsibilities

*Cut and portion ingredients according to recipes *Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment *Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line; ensure freshness *Adhere to all sanitation and kitchen safety standards *Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, utensils *Communicating with food and materials vendors to manage inventory needs

Qualifications

*Prior experience as sushi chef (3+ years preferred) *Skilled in cutting fish, preparing sushi rice, and rolling sushi *Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) *Understanding of proper food handling procedures; ServSafe Certified preferred *Ready to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude *Work in standing position for long periods of time *Ability to effectively communicate with kitchen staff *Safely lift, bend, carry up to 40 lbs.
