United Support Services, Inc., founded in 2003, is an innovative engineering and technology business headquartered in San Diego, CA has an exciting new opportunity and is currently looking to add a Supply Technician to our Warehouse team to support our facility on the Naval Air Station Lemoore in California. This position will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for performing various warehouse functions. USS offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits! **Must be able to pass a government background check to obtain access to a military base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain, temporarily store, and issue all supplies for aircraft maintenance and repair.
• Receive, inspect, process, store, issue, turn-in and exercise control over all incoming supplies at the warehouse.
• Conduct inventory checks.
• Research discrepancies and process adjustments.
• Operate automated equipment and material handling equipment.
• Research part requests and backorder non-filled issue requests.
• Review and evaluate all purchase requests for complete and accurate information.
• Track progress of materials/purchase requests to completion.
• Perform other qualified duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Experience with stock and inventory control,
• Knowledge of storage methods, warehouse control, materiel handling techniques, methods of preparing and maintaining supply records.
• Skills with manual and automated supply accounting systems, logistics principles and interactions.
• Ability to researching supply sources, processing and interpreting computer status inquiries, distributing, filing and quality control of accountable listings/documents, and receiving and storing material using client warehousing procedures.
• Knowledge of the computer systems necessary to perform the function and how the Supply Center and Warehouse operates.

Required Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System or performing warehouse duties.
• Must be able to obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.

The physical job requirement involves, but is not limited to, walking, reaching, bending-over, grasping, kneeling, concentration in the presence of loud noise, lifting items up to 50 lbs., traversing narrow passageways, climbing ladders/stairs, and operating in shop environment where mechanic equipment is operated, and some pieces of equipment have exposed moving components.
